Camellia Safi is currently an associate attorney with The Law Office of Patricia E. Tichenor, P.L.L.C. Ms. Safi graduated from Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law in May 2011, and became a licensed attorney-at-law in October 2011.
Ms. Safi worked as an intern for our law office in 2010, while she was in her second year of law school.
While at law school, Ms. Safi also interned for the Honorable Judge Rossie D. Alston, who sits on the Virginia Court of Appeals, and traveled with the Legal Services Society in 2009 to provide pro bono legal aid service to Hurricane Katrina Victims through the Mississippi Center of Justice. She has also served as a student attorney for Columbus Community Legal Services at her law school, in both the General Practice Clinic and the Consumer Protection Project, providing legal representation to low-income District of Columbia Residents.
Ms. Safi has served as a staff writer for Comm Law Conspectus: The Journal of Communications Law and Policy, and was a member of the Catholic University Society of Trial Advocates and the American Association of Justice.
Ms. Safi is a New York native, with family ties to Afghanistan, and is fluent in Farsi and Dari.
Ms. Safi plans to focus her law practice on criminal and traffic matters; family law (including divorce, custody, and visitation); and estate planning.
